Happy Monday... two cards, both channeling my inner campground owner creative agenda. The first card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch, seriously these sketches challenge me (which I believe is the point). I've used MFT wonky dies, PTI trees and circle die, Hero Arts tent stamp, PTI camping paper and kraft card stock and PTI traveler journal sentiment, and distress oxide ink for the background. I might try this again without the patterned paper... The second project is for this week's PTI Make It Monday, using ink refilers, water color paper and stencils. I only have one color... but I like the background it created. This project is almost all PTI goodies, with the exception of the Hero Arts mountains and May Arts ribbon (and I think it's a circle die from somewhere else).

Playing along (with minutes to spare) with the CAS(E) this sketch and adding another camping themed card to the Inn Town Campground's camp store stash. My card uses a Hero Arts tent, Technique Tuesday sentiment, PTI tree die, MFT hill die and a fun combo of Distress Oxide inks. Who's going camping? I love following along campers on Instagram, let me know...

I stamped and colored the back panel of this card yesterday, totally enjoying the zen aspect of coloring and afterwards realized I had little finger prints all over the center section... so I set it aside. This morning when I saw Aga's card on the MFT Sketch Challenge I knew I could use the piece, just die cut out a center section. My second card is for A Blog Named Hero, always good to pull out neglected stamps and give 'em some inky love.

You know how I say on here that a lot of the times my cards are internal pep talks to myself... if you combine these two cards together you'll totally get a vision of my road trip last week! I went on an adventure by myself (amazing to get to this stage in my life before I can say I went camping in a national park on my own).. While we do own an Airstream (it's an office at the campground), but for the trip I took our van, which was great! And after I collected the kids from their spring break adventures, the three of us camped out and it was perfect. The card above is for this week's PTI Make It Monday, Patterns behind die cut windows, most of the goodies on this card are from PTI (the trailer is from Hero Arts and the scallop die is from MFT, but otherwise everything else is PTI, paper included. And my second project for this fine Monday morning is playing along with the Coffee Lovers sip and share sketch with the Cat's Pajamas sentiment I won from the last hop.

You know me.... making cards talking to myself. I was suppose to go camping today, but I got sucked into one too many work to dos, so tomorrow... I'm on it! But, I was inspired by the MFT Sketch Challenge and decided to make another card for the Inn Town Campground's camp store (most of my other ones have vintage trailers on them, so nice to add a tent once in awhile). I've used a good mix of goodies-- MFT dies, MFT tent stamp, sentiment from one of those ~amy~ enabled purchases, PTI let's go stamp, PTI patterned paper and trees from Hero Arts.

A tag inspired by the CAS(E) this sketch challenge. I used Reverse Confetti tag and sentiment dies, MFT wine bottle and a Hero Arts stamp for the buildings. Sometimes I go on coffee themes, sometimes travel, sometimes flowers... but wine sneaks in there from time to time.

Happy Monday! Today's PTI Create with Us challenge got my inspired with this card by Dawn. And my second card is inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch. I'm off to go tackle my to dos... it's spring break this week and I'm actually going to take a couple of days off. Woo hoo!

Let's go on an adventure.... welcome back to another Tag You're It Challenge, we've got this fun tag by Joyce for your inspiration. I am not a cat person, so I decided to channel the pink and the pom pom idea and made a travel themed tag. The US stamp is by Clear and Simple stamps and the sentiments are from PTI, the tag dies are Reverse Confetti and the ribbon is from May Arts and I added a bit of gold washi tape. Please join us, I'd love to see what you create.
