Happy Friday. I overslept today, something I don't do very often (I think the last couple of weeks finally caught up with me). So... with that in mind, I was inspired by the new Ellen Hutson Pin Inspired Challenge, the coffee cup of bottom right of the and the oval eat, drink.... I wanted to to add a textured background to mimic the sheets, so I used the Hero Arts background, white embossing powder and ink. I think I would've liked more white on white... but oh well. And my second card is another one for the MFT Color Challenge.... Have a fabulous weekend everyone.

This card channels my fabulous friend ~amy~, green, patterned paper, coffee and a bit of sparkle hiding... I'm playing along (again) with the MFT sketch, I've used MFT dies, Greeting Farm coffee cup and Altenew coffee sentiment. Have a great day today... if you missed that detail about us being in the current issue of Sunset Magazine, you can now find us online.

Good morning campers! Playing along with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge, playing along with a bunch of MFT goodies and some patterned paper I had long since forgotten... Hope everyone has a great day. I should have my camping themed cards stocked and ready for the camp store at this rate.

Sometimes my cards are channeling my inner self help guru, sometimes they're work trains of thoughts coming out in artistic means, sometimes I follow a thread with a challenge and see where it ends up. Today, these three cards are all for the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge, to use one of her stamps and an Avery Elle stamp. It was a great chance to pull out my limited collection of their respective stamps. The first card also works for the current Time Out Challenge (Winter, with an extra challenge of white on white). *Edited, I just realized that I didn't use any Ellen Hutson stamps on the first card, oops, my bad. My next challenge is to send this to my friend who lives in Alaska. The second card... you know I am not an animal person, so I'm rarely drawn to the cute animal stamps... but nice to do something a little different and personally I love all this open white space. And my third card is the opposite, trying to use more colored card stock... and since ~amy~ wondered where the coffee card was yesterday.... why not mix and match up sentiments from the two companies?

Happy Monday crafty friends... playing along with a number of challenges, you'll see I sorted mixed and matched a few of the same elements. The first card is for the MFT color challenge. The second card is for the Mojo Monday sketch and the final projects are for the PTI Make It Monday, heart masking technique challenge. I used the PTI scribbles stamps for my masking technique... I might do that idea again. Hope everyone has a great Monday, no holiday is my work world....

My Favorite Things sketch with this camping themed card (using Hero Arts stamps). Okay, back to editing photos from the amazing film festival we've got in our community this weekend. Happy Sunday crafty friends.

Happy Saturday crafty friends! I was inspired by the current CAS(E) this sketch and CASology theme to create this simple card. I combined Altenew trees with a Hero Arts sentiment and cut out the card stock with a MFT die. And below is a photo of the card set I made for a friend who wanted new stationery with the sentiment "I just can't adult today. Tomorrow doesn't look good either."

We're kicking off the New Year with Karin as our featured artist. We would love to see how her tag inspires you, please remember Tag You're It Challenge is an inspirational challenge, and not just a challenge where you create a tag, please share with us what inspired you from the featured artist (colors, shape, theme, technique).

The Little Tangles challenge is anything goes... so might as well make a coffee card, right? I used the Neat & Tangles coffee and sentiment, MFT dies and Hero Arts background stamp with white embossing powder.
